Structural Engineering

From single-family homes to multi-story commercial and industrial facilities, we design and analyze complete structural systems — built to code, built to budget, and built to last. Licensed in 30+ states with deep experience in Florida's high-wind environment.

Dansco has provided full-service structural engineering since 1987. We work directly with architects, general contractors, developers, and owners to deliver accurate, constructible, and cost-effective designs — from early schematic concepts to stamped construction documents ready for permit submission.

Our engineers are versed in steel, reinforced concrete, wood, masonry, and cold-formed steel systems, and we bring practical field knowledge to every drawing we produce. When projects need a second opinion, peer review, or forensic investigation, we provide that too.

Shoring & Formwork Engineering

We engineer shoring systems, concrete formwork, and temporary structures — and provide pre-pour inspections — that keep your construction operations safe, code-compliant, and on schedule, from residential pours to high-rise core walls.

Improperly designed shoring and formwork is one of the leading causes of construction accidents and delays. Our licensed engineers provide complete design packages that satisfy OSHA requirements, local building department requirements, and the structural demands of your specific pour sequence and loading conditions.

In addition to design, we perform pre-pour shoring and formwork inspections to verify the system is built per the engineered drawings before concrete placement — a critical safety and quality checkpoint.

What You Receive

  • Stamped shoring / formwork design drawings
  • Load calculations and material specifications
  • Pour sequence recommendations
  • OSHA submittal-ready documentation package

A structural inspection from a licensed P.E. carries weight with building departments, insurance carriers, lenders, and courts. We inspect all types of residential, commercial, and industrial structures — documenting existing conditions, identifying deficiencies, and recommending corrective action when needed.

Florida-based projects can rely on Dansco for Milestone (40-year) and Phase 1 / Phase 2 recertifications, threshold inspections, wind mitigation surveys, and post-storm damage documentation. We're equally at home with pre-purchase due diligence and forensic investigations.

What You Receive

  • Photo documentation of observed conditions
  • Summary of findings & recommendations
